Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is an anionic cellulose ether with a white or slightly yellow flocculent fiber powder or white powder, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic; easily soluble in cold water or hot water, forming a certain viscosity.
Main functions:
For Food industry:
Food grade for dairy drinks and seasonings, CMC can thicken, stabilize and improve taste. In addition, CMC is also used in ice cream, bread, cake, biscuit, instant noodle and fast paste food for product molding, taste improvement, water retaining and tenacity strengthening.
